The human being is not so distinct from a house, s/he too can be decorated. The possible human decoration is usually split between the physical and the mental — clothes and books; both of these find themselves betrothed to either permanence or impermanence. The physical is often married to the impermanent, and the mental finds itself engaged to the permanent.
